LINK MODULE TELEMETRY SYSTEM
This is a modified Curtiss Wright 9350 ruggedized computer, and is primarily used on the NASA Global Hawks to manage data flow over the Ku-Band telemetry system. Its CPUs however may also be used for generic onboard data processing, hosting P.I. algorithms and databases for in-flight sensor data reduction, and it includes 500 GB of mass storage for payload data. It is an optional peripheral on any NASDAT Ethernet network requiring additional processing power, and is not limited to Global Hawk use only.
