Objective and Summary:

Take-off was at 1633 UTC. ER-2 landed at 1830 UTC.

ER-2 flew from MSN to OSH on climb out and then went to NE waypoint of the suborbital track line (44° 52 min N, 90° W to 42° 37 min N, 90° 47 min W) and flew towards SW on the line and then turned around and flew back on same line to NE. Then descended into MSN. Scenes on the line were clear over 90% of the line with just about 10% of the line overcast (low cloud) at the NE side of the line. TERRA overpass at 1715 UTC; ER-2 was in middle of 1st line with TERRA overhead. A classonde was launched at SSEC at 10:45 am CST (1645 CST). Nav recorder on ER-2 failed but nav data was recorded by AirMISR.

Coincident MAS and AirMISR data with MODIS and MISR data on TERRA in clear land scenes (forest and unvegetated surface).
